This Network is ‘a valuable tool to merge the interests of the University and business’ as described by the rector of the UBU, Manuel Pérez Mateos who, at the opening of the assembly, showed his confidence that the continuous development and expansion of REDFUE will contribute to revalue such a necessary relationship.
Several topics were discussed at the assembly, including the White Paper of Internships, as a guide to external university training or academic internships and training placements in host entities in the case of vocational training.
Furthermore, the assembly decided to establish an agreement between REDFUE and the Spanish Confederation of Business Organisations CEOE, with the aim of increasing the impact on the socio-economic environment, in the belief that our association will promote the better development of university-business relations and public-private collaboration, to the benefit of young people and society as a whole.
Lastly, Gloria Serra, Manager of the Universitat Jaume I-Empresa Foundation (FUE-UJI) of Castellón, was also appointed member of the executive committee at this assembly.
