EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

President of the University-Business Foundations Network and Executive Vice-President of the University-Business Foundation.

Degree in Economics and Business Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid.

With a clear vocation for public service, he holds positions of responsibility in the business environment as a member of the executive committee of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Madrid, and as a member of the board of directors of CEIM, the Business Confederation of Madrid-CEOE . He is also a trustee of CEPREDE, the Economic Prediction Center, and FUNDISMA, the Foundation for the Promotion of Design in the Community of Madrid.

He also has an active participation within the University sector, where he has served as Vice President of the Social Council of the University of Alcalá and member of its Governing Council. He is currently a member of the Social Council and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Carlos III University of Madrid Foundation and is President of the Network of University-Business Foundations of Spain (REDFUE). He has extensive experience in the public sector after his time in the administration as General Director of Small and Medium Enterprise Policy of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and as president of the Board of Directors of the National Innovation Company (ENISA), CERSA and DDI. In addition, he has been a counselor of the Economic and Social Council of the Community of Madrid, of the ICO and General Secretary of the Confederation of Retail Trade Entrepreneurs of Madrid (CECOMA), and Managing Director of FEDEPESCA and ADEPESCA. In addition, he has been a member of several Boards of Directors of the Spanish Association of Foundations (AEF) and the Circle of Technology for Defense and Security.

Throughout his professional career he has specialized in organization, analysis, diagnosis and redesign of procedures, preparation of business viability plans, market studies, strategic territorial development plans and evaluation of training needs and promotion of employment in the community level. After more than 20 years front of the University-Business Foundation, has made it a reference and a model of success as an organization since it has a privileged vision and extensive experience in both worlds. It has known how to innovate in all management processes and adapt to the needs of the market – always in a changing environment – to fulfill the mission of bringing the world of the university closer to the world of business.

Secretary-Treasurer of the University-Business Foundations Network and Manager of the Foundation of the University of Almeria.

Degree in Economics from the University of Almeria. Expert in account auditing from the University of Malaga (1998). Diploma of Advanced Studies in Business Organisation from the University of Almeria (2001). Senior Management Programme at the International Institute of San Telmo (2008). Diploma in Senior University Management from the Antonio de Nebrija University (2013).

She has held the position of Foundation Manager since 2001. And since June 2020, she has been the Secretary-Treasurer of the University-Business Foundations Network.

She was Director of Services of the Social Council of the University of Almeria and Secretary of the same body, as well as associate professor in the area of Business Organisation at the University of Almeria.

She has held various positions on the Board of Directors of the College of Economists of Almeria since its inception, as Treasurer, Secretary and Member.

Vice-president of the University-Business Foundation and Managing Director of the Las Palmas University Foundation.

He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering, specialising in Industrial Organisation, from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria; a Master’s Degree in Quality Management; and a Master’s Degree in University Management and Policy, from the Polytechnic University of Barcelona. 

He has worked as a consultant in the field of innovation and quality management, developing strategic plans and implementing quality and innovation management systems in organisationsHe was responsible for the quality area of the University Foundation of Las Palmas; coordinator of the Planning and Quality Office of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and executive secretary of the Professional Association for the Study and Management of Quality and Innovation in the Autonomous Region of the Canary Islands. He has led several projects related to the implementation of the European Model of Excellence (EFQM), strategic plans and the implementation of quality and innovation management systems in organisations. For four years, he was President of the Spanish University-Business Foundations Network.

He was a professor in the area of Business Organisation of the Department of Economics and Business Management at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in the School of Industrial Engineering and in the Diploma of Tourism. He was also a professor of the MBA Master and the University Expert in R&D Management at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

He has given lectures and courses in different parts of the world on quality management and innovation in organisations and the university-industry connection and knowledge transfer, such as, Assessment and Improvement in the Libraries Service (University of Mons, Belgium); Innovation Management in Organisations (National Junior Business Congress); Modernisation Processes in Organisations (City Council of Granadilla de Abona, Tenerife); The Strategic Planning in the Libraries Services (University of Toulon, France), Follow-up Process of the Strategic Plan (Palermo. Italy); Quality Management in Organisations (Balearic Islands); Strategic Planning in Higher Education (Santiago de Chile, Chile).

Graduate in Physical Sciences from the University of Valladolid and Doctor in Physics in the field of physics of new materials and nanotechnology. Marie Curie Postdoctorate at Trinity College Dublin in the field of Econophysics and Artificial Intelligence applied to new models in financial markets. Guest researcher at several European Research Centers and Universities. Postgraduate in Business Administration from the University of Barcelona and Executive MBA from EAE Business School of Barcelona. Numerous publications in international scientific articles in the field of new materials, regular collaborator in written media on R&D&i, science and technology policies and business policy. Guest speaker at Research Centers, Universities, regional and national governments, and other types of public institutions, both nationally and internationally.

Jorge Izquierdo has more than 20 years of experience in management positions related to R&D&I management and University-Business management in both the public and private spheres. To name some of his management positions, he has been General Director of the Adeuropa Foundation of the Government of Castilla y León, Director of R&D&i and business development of Hiperbaric, and is currently Managing Director of the General Foundation of the University from Burgos.

He has more than 25 years of experience in design, direction and project management, and in the design and direction of policies related to R&D&I and the University-Business relationship. He has been a regional and national representative on numerous EU committees and a representative on the boards of Technology Centers and Technology and Science Parks. He is a member of several national and international networks and associations related to R&D&i and science and technology.

Member of the University-Business Foundations Network and Manager of the Universitat Jaume I-Business Foundation.

Degree in Business Administration and Management from the Universitat Jaume I of Castellón (1997), Diploma in Business Sciences from the UJI (1994), Expert in Organisational Coaching (2019), Advanced Diploma in Applications of Positive Psychology for intervention in Organisations (2015) and in Social Skills (2011).

She has held the position of Manager of the Universitat Jaume I-Business Foundation since April 2019, with more than 25 years of experience in the field of Foundations as Director of Administration and Deputy Manager of the FUE-UJI. She has extensive training in accounting, taxation and auditing, as well as in Positive Leadership in Organisations, Leader-Coach.

Vice President of the Board of Directors of Unión de Mutuas, she is a member of the Board of Directors of Networking Directives Castellón. Member of the Participatory Governance Council of the Provincial Council of Castellón. She is a member of the Education and Knowledge Management working committee of the Business Confederation of the Valencian Community (CEV) and of the Education and Training Committee of the CEOE.

She has been President of the Association Networking Directives Castellón NDCS, member of the Board of Directors of the Business Confederation of the Valencian Community, member of the Board of Directors of the Business Council of Castellón, member of the Economic Commission of the CEV and member of the Equality Service of the City Council of Castellón, of the Autonomous Council of Foundations CV and Founding President of the youth association EADE-Conulting, Junior Enterprise.

Member of the Network of Foundations and General Director of the Business University Foundation of the Region of Murcia.

Senior professional with more than 20 years of experience in Multinationals, Large companies and SMEs, being a specialist in the optimization, transformation and integration of procedures within companies. In-depth knowledge of the management of service, training, consulting, technological, commercial and insurance companies.

Leading the Digital Transformation strategy in a Foundation (ENAE Business School) as General Director, the internalization and acquisition of clients through new official Titles in different areas of knowledge in different languages ​​in different countries.

General Assembly

The General Assembly is the supreme body of the association and is composed of the president and a representative of each of the members.

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee is the permanent body responsible for managing and representing the interests of the association, in accordance with the provisions and directives of the General Assembly.

Technical secretary

The technical secretariat supports the General Assembly and the Executive Committee in their functions, and coordinates activities of interest for members.
