Fundación Universitaria de Las Palmas

Description:

Foundation established in 1982 with the objective of responding to and channeling the demands of the citizens of Gran Canaria in their demand for a public university on the island.

The Foundation’s activity distinguishes four main axes in its activity.

Employment, where innovative actions are carried out aimed at promoting the employment of university and vocational training professionals through actions aligned with companies.

Innovation and entrepreneurship, where entrepreneurial education and training in innovative skills are promoted to achieve global competitiveness.

The Training area, where training offers are created, designed and developed that respond to the needs of the labor market, that is, from the perspective of demand.

Finally, a fourth line of action is that of a collaborating entity to manage different aid programs for different organizations.
