University Company Awards
The Universidad Empresa Foundations Network established the Universidad Empresa awards in 2000 with the aim of recognizing the most outstanding collaborations between the university and business worlds. Since its creation, 12 editions have been held, which have consolidated the value of the Awards.
The awards, which serve as a stimulus to deepen relations between the university and business, represent a boost to cooperation and economic competitiveness, while contributing to the advancement of society.
The prizes are awarded in two modalities:
- University: It is awarded to that university that stands out for its history of collaboration or for a specific project related to the business world.
- Company: It is awarded to a company whose continuous cooperation with the university has had an impact on teaching and research.
The evaluation committee selects the proposals that will be submitted to the jury of the Business University Awards
The Evaluation Committee of the 12th Edition of the Business University Awards met on November 8 at the headquarters of the Secretary of State for Education, Vocational Training and Universities to evaluate the good practice proposals.
The Evaluation Committee selected three proposals for the Company modality and another three for the Universities modality that will be presented to the jury. Based on these proposals, the members of the jury will issue their ruling.
During the meeting, the president of REDFUE, Antonio Aracil, explained that the Business University Awards “recognize cases of good practices or unique projects that deserve to be valued and made known.”

The Business University awards enter the final stretch. On November 14, the meeting of the jury members who selected the two proposals from the Business and University modalities that will receive the award was held at the Spanish Television headquarters in Torrespaña.
